Vinh (Vinny) Miller - Our Founder

Vinny came to the United States in 1972 from Laos, and grew up in Michigan. After receiving his Business Administration degree from Ferris State University, Vinny accepted a position with General Motors where in 14 years with the company he gained a broad knowledge in corporate operations, auto manufacturing liability, repair facility management, and dealership operations.

In 1999 Assurant Solutions recruited Vinny to oversee the claims operations and form the first Risk Management Team managing the underwriting risk of 9 TPA’s, 2 manufacturers, and other national private label programs. In his 6 years with Assurant Vinny managed over 70 staff personnel and was accountable for strategic planning, risk management, leadership and development of the entire claims operations for the U.S., Canada and San Juan.

Vinny's extensive industry background of 20 years, along with his operational, financial, and technological achievements in his prior employment, will place TPA Risk Management among the leaders in the industry.

TPA Risk Management is a consulting services company, providing advisory services and solutions for organizations currently doing business in the Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) industry, and for companies considering an entrance into the industry. Our focus is to fulfill the risk management needs of claims administrators, insurers and managing general agents.

In recent years, insurers have exited the market and Risk Retention Groups have filed for bankruptcy. This has caused disruption in the industry as regulators are taking notice of poor practices in the industry.

TPA Risk Management was formed to fill a void in the industry of assisting companies in managing the risk of this business. Our comprehensive risk management approach protects the insurers exposure to risk, while improving underwriting profits for administrators and agents. TPA Risk Management also provides insurers assistance in exploring international markets, as well as providing due diligence of prospective clients.

TPA Risk Management is a service company that will provide consulting services to third party claims administrators and insurance companies. TPA Risk Management will provide complete management support to assure our clients achieve maximum corporate income and their portfolios achieve long term underwriting profitability.

The TPA Risk Management Team is made up of seasoned veterans who have over 100 years of automotive and Extended Service Contract experience. The Team is made up of Master ASE technicians, automotive instructors, auditors, and former manufacturer service managers.
